Our warehouse offers a great advantage in regional warehousing to both our manufacturers and distributors. We feel regional inventories help to support and strengthen our relationships with our distributors’ as well as meet the demands to move products quicker into the customer hands.
Capabilities:UPS Ground Next Day delivery possible to the majority of customers within SMD’s marketplace The manufacturer can use this warehouse as an alternative warehouse facility to service additional territory Inventory is furnished by the Manufacturer Orders can be placed with either SMD, or the Manufacturer who will then fax the packing list to SMD for Shipment A confirmation statement of product shipped along with individual shipping charges will be sent to the Manufacturer daily for invoicing purposes Manufacturers UPS shipper # is provided to SMD for shipping purposes only, or a monthly summary of shipping charges and expenses will be sent to and paid by the manufacturer. Charge – In addition to the normal Representative commission, a commission will be paid on all products that move through the warehouse.
